I’m Poppy, Bristol born and bred, and currently am working freelance in writing reviews for gigs, events and theatre all across the city. I love nightlife, in every shape and form, and live music is just pure joy. Whether that’s personally, culturally or socially, live events bring us together in an age so insular and obsessed with perfection; yet when you are in a room full of that excited anticipation as guitars are tested and amps are plugged in, there is nothing stopping anyone from dancing, shouting, laughing as a group of complete strangers.
